Here is a print out of the original
art that
the chart is based on. You might be
able
to see the dragon and his ball
taking shape now. |

Not much accomplished for 3 hours of
work. That happens when you get cocky and go zipping
along, not paying enough attention. That's when you get
to frog* several rows. |

Since I know something is wrong on
the left side, and that the right side is right, I'm
going to finish that side and work back. Hopefully the
mistake will show itself and I can either frog it or
work around it. |

Ramblings As I stitch
and count, strange thoughts go through me brain. Thought
I'd share a sample and see if anyone else does what I
do.
Third stitch up....next to the
two right arrows....down two and over one....stitch
three...next one is....down three and two to the
left...next to the three stars in a row....one more wa-a-y
down there.....thread is almost gone...can I stretch it
or do I have to reload the needle for one stoopid
stitch...thread came out twice, time for refill...I
really hate this color so I sure hope it works as a
highlight in the overall design....rats, where was
I?....I need more coffee but I only have three stitches
left...okay I can scratch off this row from the
graph....that's the last of this color, I can get coffee
now and maybe a bathroom break....man, my neck hurts....ahhhh,
coffee...now where was I?....three half circles over and
two stars down, stitch three right arrows in a row...not
much to show for two and a half hours of work...all
these single stitches of each color really takes a lot
of time.
If you do this too, please
email me and
tell me so I feel better. |

Just a bit done. Actually left
the house for a few hours. <gasp> |

Yesterday I just filled up holes so
didn't take a pic. Here's what I've done today as of
4:06 pm Pacific time. |

Tip:
Put your chart on a metal tin and
hold it down with small magnets. This keeps it from
blowing away, lets you fold the chart and keep it flat,
plus your needles will congregate around the magnets. |
| *Frog-undoing what
you've done. You know, rip-it, rip-it. |

Note: The horizontal lines
you see are not part of the pattern or fabric. That is
from being so
close to the Ott Light.
Once I get a light box set up, they should disappear. |
