Halloween  2009

April-May

This hand was made over two pair of very cheap gloves that were stuffed with paper and taped shut. Two layers of strips went over the gloves and nails added with folded paper. This shows the hand with a layer of pulp and veins added. Still wet, so we'll see how well the veins show.

Sly Guy

Here he is in The Mob. He's the

big white one on top. Maybe that

will give you some scale. The smallest

jacks are 4" across.

First pulp layer is 3/4 done.

Sitting on the clothes hamper with a fan on it. Hoping the holes in the hamper will help the bottom dry faster.

First layer is done and dry, now

building up his face.

Second painting. Haven't

figured out whether to use

spray paint for the stem or

to get another quart of house paint.

SG is definitely one of my Lumpkins

OMG

First pulp layer

Outside is painted.

Inside you can see

my attempts to color his insides

with colored tissue paper.

Snubnose

All pulped

First paint

WIP

You can see both of these guys in The Mob, sorta

Snubnose is directly under Sly Guy and OMG had

fallen down below just behind the lantern..

Trying a tall one with these bottles.

You know how you have these things hanging around because you know they'll be good for something, someday.

Today is the day.
