March 26
The other side has its first layer
of pulp |
 |
|
March 27 Learning to
blend. Luckily acrylic paint is cheap and forgiving.
Blending from deepest water to small breakers on the
shore. Yeah, I see the squarish cut-off in the center.
That will change. |
 |
| As the mound for the lighthouse
dries, differences in colors are coming out. I could
almost seal it and leave the colors as they are. Spaces
where the pulp has shrunk to reveal bits of Grest Stuff
are showing. Hoping it will only be another day before I
can build up some more. It feels spongy with some
obvious damp spots now. |
 |
| Edges of sand and
pm showing some shrinkage. Glad I went over the line
just a tad. |
 |
|
Okay, this is as much damage as I'm
going to do to the water. I think. For now. I think it's
too dark, T thinks it's just right. The pic makes it a
bit darker than it really is. |

Built up both sides with papier
mache. Neighborhood cat supervising. |

| Mound for
lighthouse |
 |
| Other side. Taking
it outside into the light, I see all the gaps that
didn't show up inside. Darn!! |
