The second cat isn't
exactly anatomically correct, but it is more rounded.

From the bottom so you can
see how thick it is so far. |
 First
layers were done and dry. I added 4 layers to one side,
with the 4th being colored paper. |
From the side so you can
see how it tapers to the
bottom. |

September 10
Cat has been padded where
needed and bottom leveled. This layer is heavy duty
drawing paper that I think will sand well. It
certainly adds strength. This side and the bottom are
done. When that dries, on to the other side, then
sanding, gesso and deciding how to paint her/him. |
