December 2, 2007
The nose has begun. Fishing
line has been tied beneath the nose, around the top and
tied behind the hat. I think you can see it in the
larger image. Looking carrot-like if skinny.

Susan (Haunt Space moderator)
dared me so I'm gonna do it. There's a reason I haven't
worked on this guy for this long. She dared me to put a
Funkin* Jack O' Lantern head on him. Not going to use a
Funkin, but I'm going to carve his face and paint his
face orange.

December 3 Ya gotta
do what you gotta do. Freaky (temporary name-Freaky the
Snowman) got too top heavy for his base and started
leaning. So I grabbed boxes and a wire rack to prop him
up. His nose fits nicely between the wires. |

December 4 Surgery.
I am now a snowman proctologist. He was just so
top-heavy that I decided to cut a hole in his bottom and
add sand. The bg is all blurred so you can see him
clearly. The boxes and rolled up paper holding him up
make it hard to see. Thomas held him while I cut, then
poured in the sand...actually old tile grout...while I
tried to not cover him in a cloud of the stuff.

December 9
Covered with gesso mixed with grey
tile grout. Evil makes snow dirty you know. Face cut,
inside of head painted red and a strand of red lights
added. The lights really are red, but the camera turned
them white.
