Two double thicknesses of triangles done on #1 (thickest setting) on pm.

Put together slightly offset.

Cut off offset points

Run through pm on #1 with both colors

touching the rollers.

Fold in half matching dark to dark and light

to light. flatten edge with roller.

After one pass through pm. continue doing this about 20 times always fold the same way and put fold edge on rollers.

Pull edges up slightly to straighten, then continue running through pm.

Fold one more time. run through pm light side at roller. The purple pen

grip is at the light end

of the blend.

If it is wider that two inches , fold in half length ways, run through pm on #1,#3,#4, this will be very long and will stick together, handle with care.

Cut one end straight. now i time to decide if you want

light or dark in the middle.

Put snake on end of

a long strip.

Roll up trying to keep it fairly even.

All rolled up

Slice ends off

so it is even.

Cut down the middle of this plug as evenly as you can.

Make two more cuts, hopefully more even than

I did.

Make a darker or contrasting sheet of clay

on #4.

Put a piece of that color on each piece. and put plug back together exactly the same way you

took it apart.

Slice plug on the diagonal.
